This product is the most used appliance in our home, hands down. Every single morning it makes 4 NEOLIFE shakes and every single night it makes Dempsey's smoothie. Some nights, it makes me (mom) a second NEOLIFE shake.
We even pack it up and take it with us when we are away from home. We used it when we were in-patient and take it with us to use in hotels when we travel.
We have gone through two of these since Dempsey's journey started in April of 2016... not because they are cheap but because we use them that much.

StadlerForm is the maker of our favorite diffuser- the Jasmine model. Easy to use, easy to clean, effective, and stylish- we literally have one in every room.
Recently this company created a larger- JULIA- and smaller version- MIA- as well. If you sign up for their emails you'll be alerted about their sales... which are always pretty good. Otherwise, if you're in need of a diffuser quick, you can order them on Amazon.

Southern Californians are no stranger to the sun and thus the need for sunscreen. However, most brands out there are full of toxins! No thank you! thinkbaby is a safer brand/ product that works well, doesn't leave a white film, smells divine, and is as nice to the environment as it is to your skin.
You can feel good about using this product... as you should about every product you use. This company also has a sport line.

GOLDEN and Nutriance brands are a part of GNLD umbrella that alos holds our favorite whole food nutritional supplements.
The GOLDEN products we love and use daily are:
"green": really a multi-purpose product. We use it from bathing all the way to teeth brushing. It's versatile, safe, eco-friendly, and effective.
"LDC", or Light Duty Cleaner, is what we use to wash our dishes. This is a concentrated product so dilution is key and the benefit is your investment last a long time. We also use this as bubble bath when we want some extra bath time fun. Currently we are having an issue with flies... I diluted this product in a spray bottle and ta-da, bug spray to handle those flying pests- plus I just wipe off the newly cleaned/ sprayed surface. Win-win.
"Super 10" is another safe, eco-friendly, all-natural cleaner. This one is for the heavy duties- car washing, driveway grease, engine cleaning, PineSol replacing kinds of things. Again, it's in a concentrated state so dilution is a must.
Our favorite Nutriance (skin care) product is the Aloe Vera Gel. Living in SoCal we get kissed by the sun quite often and we always have this product on hand to help sooth the burn and help our skin heal.

Just after diagnosis, Dempsey had incredible pain in his legs. It was so bad he couldn't walk and even sitting in some positions was painful. We were determined to get his body back in shape and stronger than ever- so, we asked our network to pitch in and help us purchase this AmTryke from SoCalTrykers. We chose this bike because it's the kind our hospital's physical therapists used in-house.
It was hard to get Dempsey to ride in the beginning, but we pushed him hard. He is competetive by nature so he quickly funneled his anger and frustration into pushing those pedals with all he had. Today, he is faster on land than his older brother and we have moved on to a normal big-kid bicycle! God is so good.

In month two of this journey, I was blessed to become acquainted with a sweet woman and fellow cancer mom named Kari. She works with one of our most favorite-ist organizations called KICKcancER Movement. The organization has a deal with this company and was able to help secure a discounted price for this necessary Mini BioMat. We use it to help Dempsey's circulation and also help his liver do its detox job better.

BURGER DAYS have been a crucial part of our journey. We work HARD to properly nourish our leukemia fighter and that means the freshest ingredients made the freshest way and enjoyed immediately- at home. Eating out is no longer the frequent luxury it once was. When you eat out you cannot control the ingredients or preparation and those are two areas we just will not relinquish control. However, holistically caring for the whole person also includes caring for the mind. Sometimes the mind just needs something fun to look forward to. BURGER DAYS are just that for us.
Each Sunday, between husband's work hours (he's a pastor and has a split shift on Sundays), we pick one of the three places named to the left. In an effort to save bucks, we visit In n Out more often than the the other two. Something so many take for granted has become a weekly joy for our family.

Cuisinart 77-17N 17 Piece Chef's Classic Set, Stainless Steel
We purchased this set off of Amazon. Why? Because we had those dreaded-but-easy-to-clean non-stick pots and pans. Even worse... they were worn out and leeching who knows what into our food and air.
These took a little getting used to- need lower temps and a good layer of quality butter/ oil. They also have some sticking issues that require you to let them soak and use some good ol' fashioned elbow grease. Completely worth the small investment ($200) in our overall health.
