THINK PEDIATRIC CANCER IS RARE? WAIT UNTIL IT HAPPENS TO YOUR KID!
Here is a list of all the different types of pediatric cancers there are out there and each one has to share in that measly 4% of the budget dedicated to Pediatric Cancer Research. So to put it in perspective, if I looked it up correctly, Cancer Research gets 5 Billion Dollars a year for research from Grants & Government Funding. OUT OF 5 BILLION DOLLARS, only 200 Million goes to KIDS CANCER research, and then that is divided over this list of 162 different cancers!! So that leaves 4 Billion 800 Million left for Adult Cancer. JUST doesnt balance in my book, how about yours?
